Charles Kalivas began his career in the insurance industry in 1968 as an insurance agent of John Hancock Insurance Company. After 13 years gaining the experience and insight needed to provide quality service, he opened his own insurance business in November, 1981. The company had a modest beginning, with only twenty auto policies that would be effective in January, 1982. Since then, the Kalivas Insurance Agency has grown to service over 2,500 policies, which include auto, homeowner, business and workers’ compensation insurance. Despite his growth, Charlie still operates his company with the same, small agency feel that served him so well in his early years, with personalized service to his customers being his strong point. “We are here for our customers, providing the assistance and advice needed throughout the sometimes confusing aspects of insurance issues and information.” Kalivas Insurance strives to use insurance companies that not only offer competitive rates, but give the best service. In June of 2001, Michael Kalivas joined the Kalivas Insurance Agency, to continue providing the same type of service that founded and grew this business. A 2000 graduate of Merrimack College, Michael brings a fresh perspective to his work, while continuing to maintain the ideals that made Kalivas Insurance Agency a successful, family enterprise.
